OUR HISTORY

The Calvaresi family represent the leading edge of the italian tailoring knowledge that has its roots in the second half of the 1960s in a small hamlet near Ascoli Piceno. The manufacturing company, “Confezioni Mary”, takes its name from Maria Antonietta Carbonari that opened a small workshop with just ten employees which soon became a point of reference for hand made suits.

In the ‘70s, driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit, her children Romeo and Giulietta have created the Calvaresi brand, specializing initially in the production of tailored suits and formal wear. Over the years they have increased the product range, introducing overcoats, trousers and sportswear.

Now, in its third generation, the brand proudly carries on an artisan tradition able to crossing decades, guaranteeing the highest standards of excellence Made in italy.

Thanks to a well-organized structure, we can offer a full service, proposing repair service and tailor made services for all our products. The customer can choose from our fabric collection and create a sartorial model from those available.

All clothing items are internally produced using hand made tailoring techniques handed down over time.

BESPOKE TAILORING

The experience of a bespoke suit is the maximum expression of exclusivity. In the tradition of the Calvaresi brand the project starts with fitting in the atelier and takes place primarily from the research of the right fabric and wearability, passing through the unique relationship between dressmaker and customer to the creation of the Made in Italy, personal and unique product.

Clean and linear suits, but at the same time structured and iconic that characterize the Calvaresi products, with precious and refined hand made details.

CEREMONY

The Brand identity has extended to the wedding ceremony panorama, thanks to exclusive designs, manufactured with the finest italian materials dedicated to the wedding couture world.

Uniques suits which are able to describe the personality of the wearer, empowering him through elegance.

SPORTSWEAR

The modern proposals of the Calvaresi Style use a hybridization between tailoring and sportwear, maintaining classic details combined to create a brand new metropolitan elegance.
